Travis Field is a Canadian pipe fabricator, welding specialist, and inventor with 20 years of welding experience. He holds a U.S. O-1 visa for Extraordinary Ability.
Trained at GRB College of Welding. His foundation in formal welding education is complemented by continued professional development, trade qualifications, and hands-on industrial experience.
Travis connects practical pipe-welding experience with the science behind the material. As a consultant and AWS Certified Welding Inspector, he supports welding execution, troubleshooting, inspection, and quality documentation. As a trainer, educator, and instructor, he develops practical welding skills and explains the material behavior behind the process. His work also extends to invention and published technical authorship. Travis has filed seven patent applications, with one U.S. utility patent granted.

PWI provides specialty welding execution, workforce development, CWI visual inspection and quality support, and technical advisory. Engagements are scoped to the material, project requirements, and client quality program.
When mechanical or metallurgical testing is needed, it is coordinated through qualified third-party laboratories. PWI does not issue independent welding certifications or operate as a testing laboratory.
